There is mentioned a process for securing and clamping of a cloth material in an easel framework (40) which comprises transverse and lateral mouldings. The clamping is carried out by securing opposite side edges of the cloth material (22) to first (48) and second (50) attachment mouldings which are arranged with mutual spacing connected to the framework, in that the edge sides are guided down in a longitudinal groove (12) designed in the respective attachment mouldings (48, 50), after which there is guided down over the cloth material in the groove (12) an elastic body (14) which is a little broader than the breadth of the groove (12) at the inlet, and the attachment mouldings (48, 50) are displaced in parallel relative to each other until the workpiece has achieved the suitable clamping. On need the cloth material can be tautened in the side directions. There is also described an arrangement for securing cloth materials. |
