<p>A carton tray (40) formed from a flat carton blank (10) including a bottom wall panel (12), four sidewall panels (18, 20) integral with the bottom wall panel along four side fold lines (14) and a gusset wall panel (22) integral with each pair of adjacent sidewall panels along two end fold lines (24, 26) extending from a corner point (16) in angularly related relation with respect to one another. In erected condition, each gusset wall panel (22) is brought into surface-to-surface abutting relation with an end portion (32) of one of the associated pair of adjacent sidewall panels (20) defined by one of the associated two end fold lines (26). An adhesive adheres each gusset wall panel with the associated one sidewall end portion to thereby form a sealed integral corner construction (42) between each pair of adjacent sidewall panels which is defined (1) exteriorly by the associated gusset wall panel adhesively adhered in abutting relation to the associated one sidewall end portion with the associated one end fold line (26) extending generally in a plane coincident with an interior surface of the associated one sidewall panel (20) from the associated corner point and (2) interiorly by another of the associated two end fold lines (24) extending from the associated corner point along the surface of the associated one sidewall panel (20).</p> |
