The ring front sight is screwed into a holder in a tubular tunnel comprising adjacent, sprung metal lamellas with its longitudinal axis in the line of aim, the lamellas being ramp-shaped at their ends and bent firstly outwards and then vertically to the line of aim inwards. Additionally in the ring tunnel (1) coaxial to the hollow cylinder is arranged a squeeze ring (32) determining the outer dia. of the ring sight and held between two further spaced apart, adjustable plates (30, 31). The plates are connected to slide cylinders (12, 13) located by the ring sight tunnel inner walling, and are displaceable longitudinally via rotatably arranged adjustment rings (14, 25).
