The present invention relates to a non-contact type digital door lock system and a control method thereof. When a target, or a user, approaches a digital door lock and is within a predetermined distance from the digital door lock, the target can receive a digital door lock password from a wireless communications terminal owned by the target in order to release a locked state. The non-contact type digital door lock system includes: the wireless communications terminal which includes a first wireless communications module, is installed with an automatic door lock unlocking application, and transmits the door lock password through the first wireless communications module after recognizing the location of a counterpart wireless communications module when the automatic door lock unlocking application is executed; and a door lock device which includes a second wireless communications module, receives the door lock password through the second wireless communications module, compares the received door lock password with a door lock password stored in advance, and releases the locked state of the door lock when the passwords are identical. The non-contact type digital door lock system eliminates the trouble of re-entering the password after inputting a wrong password or not being able to unlock the door lock when the user forgets the door lock password. |
