SINGLE CHANNEL MONOPULSE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a monopulse system formed in a single channel structure capable of adjusting an amplification gain or signal-processing variables or the like and a controlling method thereof. The method for controlling a monopulse system including an antenna, a comparator and a single channel monopulse receiver comprises the steps of: receiving multiple signals; generating an additional signal, a first differential signal and a second differential signal by using the received multiple signals; calculating a first monopulse ratio by using at least one among the additional signal, the first differential signal and the second differential signal; calculating a second monopulse ratio by using at least one among the additional signal, the first differential signal and the second differential signal; and optimizing the characteristic value of the monopulse receiver based on the calculated first and second monopulse ratios.
