The setting drive has an electric motor (2) coupled to a worm gearing (3, 4) and a spring energy store (14), ensuring a small run-up torque for the electric motor (2). The electric motor (2), the worm gearing (3, 4) and the spring energy store (14) are contained in a common housing, with the axis (A) of the worm wheel (4) perpendicular to axis (B) of the spring energy store (14) and the axis (C) of the electric motor (2). The worm wheel (4) is combined with a crank (7) acting on a drive rod (10) for the spring energy store (14) via a crank rod (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, compact setting drive, e.g. for clutch.
