To treat illnesses and conditions, the hydrogen content is raised directly and the indol and cortisone content raised only slightly indirectly according to the vascular condition and the illness-induced changes. This through infusion of hydrogen into the suction side of the heart, artificial respiration or inhalation of a non-inflammable, nucleide-free mixt. of hydrogen and air. The hydrogen is obtd. from pressure tanks and the use of hydrogen produced from battery chargers using mains current or solar energy where steam ignition is excluded. And/or the hydrogen, indol and cortisone content is controlled directly by enrichment of a high protein alkali diet contg. fibrin and tryptophan but low in carbohydrates and salt and fat, such as egg white, lean poultry and mutton, lean fish, low-fat dairy prods., skimmed milk, vegetables low in carbohydrates, and very limited quantities of acid fruit juice or organic acids. Pref. for the treatment of infectious illness, through viruses and/or bacteria, except for putrefactive conditions, the hydrogen and cortisone content is reduced, and the indol content sharply raised through an extremely acid diet rich in carbohydrates, but low in protein, fat and salt, such as acid fruit juices or organic acids, sugar with max. one egg white/day by enrichment of medication contg. indol. USE/ADVANTAGE - Method can be used for self-treatment of conditions such as Bechterew's reflex, Alzheimer's disease and various infections, and in the construction and operation of hydrogen-air inhalation rooms and appts., and increased usage of egg white, ground feathers, organic acids and indol derivatives.
