Bandsaw blade for foams and textiles - has wavy sections with teeth to prevent plucking with reciprocating blades

A bandsaw blade, esp. for cutting foam or textiles, has a cutting edge (29) with wavy section (23) and straight sections (24) and has teeth (27) which are set back from a line (50) joining the leading parts of the blade. The wavy sections can have 3-5 paired wedge shaped teeth and a wave length of about 10mm and a depth of 1-1.5mm. Straight and wavy sections can alternate and the teeth can be confined to the wavy sections. USE/ADVANTAGE - Partic. useful in preventing plucking at the reversal point in reciprocating blades.
