The analysis and documentation aid contains a stiff, marker-free, transparent plate of standard thickness and defined format. The plate has at least a simple base area (3) of a transparent segment and at least a single layer, flat transparent segment with at least four markings or marking sequences. The markings or marking sequences are of equal sizes and equally spaced. They are points or of some other shape and arranged in a matrix(10) or at least in a three-strip marking sequence (20). USE/ADVANTAGE - For simple, direct and quantitative evaluation of hard copy recordings and graphics, e.g. for biological image analysis.
