Bucket chain links form straps with eyelets for the axle bolt. Friction-reducing sliding blocks (6) are arranged between the link (1,13,14) straps (2,3,12,12a,21,21a) and their sliding surfaces (19) project above the strap height. The straps (2,3) are formed like a beaker with a holder flange (7) and an eyelet (8). The blocks (6) consist of non metal, specifically fibre reinforced plastics or ceramic. USE/ADVANTAGE - Dewatering plant. Plastics sliding blocks between links straps reduce steel/steel friction in durable design.
