The brake driving device comprises a brake (10) applying brake power to a supply reel (1), a cam (21) connected to the back of the supply reel, a cam lever (23) connected with the cam, a slide plate (26) driving the brake, a brake (2) braking a take up reel (2) from the stop condition to the completion of tape loading and releasing the take up reel on the plate condition, a means (40) checking the rotation of the take up reel on the tape unloading condition, a means (50) controlling the driving of the take up reel when tape unloading is completed. The tape is unloaded while the appropriate tension is applied to the tape.
