PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical contaminated soil decontamination apparatus that enables industrial decontamination of a massive toxic metal-contaminated soil and also a toxic metal-contaminated soil containing toxic materials other than toxic metals and the like.SOLUTION: A contaminated soil decontamination apparatus S comprises a crushing part 1, a classification part 2, a sedimentation part 3, a filter part 4, and a chelating agent recycling part 5. The crushing part 1 crushes stone and/or gravel mixed in a soil contaminated with toxic metals and the like. The classification part 2 mixes the soil discharged from the crushing part 1 with rinse water containing a chelating agent, causing the toxic metals and the like to be taken away from the soil and captured by the chelating agent, and separates and collects sand and coarse aggregate from the soil. The sedimentation part 3 separates the rinse water containing the fine-grained soil discharged from the classification part 2 by sedimentation into supernatant water and sludge containing the fine-grained soil. The chelating agent recycling part 5 recycles the chelating agent by removing toxic metals and the like or ions thereof captured by the chelating agent in the supernatant water discharged from the sedimentation part 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
