PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision avoidance system which prevents an erroneous operation by a driver, can properly conduct collision avoidance and follows the intention of driver's operation in a vehicle provided with a collision avoidance function.SOLUTION: A collision avoidance system includes: an avoidance brake control part which can actuate avoidance brake for avoiding collision with an avoidance object of a vehicle; a first judgement part which judges whether the vehicle is during stopping or not; a second judgement part which judges whether driver's braking force which exhibits a braking force generated by an operation of driver's brake pedal is a loosened state which is delayed and reduced as compared to a standard or not; and a collision avoidance control part which permits actuation of avoidance braking when the second judgement part judges as the loosened state in such a case that the vehicle is changed from the stopping to a travelling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
