PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching die and a punching method capable of punching even the molding sheet of a relatively simple structure in which a flange part adjacent to a tray part is narrow.SOLUTION: A molding sheet punching die 1a includes a plurality of vertically and horizontally arranged punching units 3a, and each punching unit 3a is erected on a substrate 4a, and includes a planar square frame shaped punching blade 5a for punching the flange part 22 of the tray part 21 of a molding sheet 2, and an inner protective member 6a and an outer protective member 10a respectively adjacent to the inside and the outside of the punching blade 5a, having tip parts projected above the punching blade 5a, and vertically movable along a punching operation. The inner protective member 6a includes a thin plate-like member 7a, a support extension part 8a extending from the lower end part of the thin plate-like member 7a, and an elastic member 9a for supporting the support extension part 8a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
