PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footstool for a cat that facilitates attachment and detachment to a cat cage, and also can be utilized as a footplate and also in multiple applications, and provide the cat cage equipped with such the footstool for the cat and being comfortable for the cat.SOLUTION: A footstool 1 for a cat of the present invention is equipped with a footstool body 2 of a wooden bowl dish-shape formed so as to be integrally continued by a flat bottom 21 having a linear edge in at least one place, a back wall 22 raised from the linear edge, and a front wall 23 raised from the edge other than the linear edge. An attaching member 3 having a locking hook capable of being locked to the wire 7 of a cage panel 7 is attached in the vicinity of an upper edge of the back wall 22, and the footstool 1 for the cat is locked to the cage panel 7 through this attaching member 3.
