<p>The mixer fin 14 is particularly intended for a rotatable drum mixer, e.g. for mixing and delivering concrete, the fin being upstanding from the interior of the drum. The fin is formed of composite material comprised of a polymeric material 32 having a high abrasion resistance, a high flexural modulus, and a low coefficient of friction, such as polyurethane, into which is dispersed a particulate, non-metallic material 33 capable of forming a cohesive interaction with the polymeric material.
