<p>The invention relates to composite materials containing, as matrix, a polymeric organic compound and, as reinforcing material, filaments or yarns of polyether ketone (PEK) or textile sheet-like structures built up from these filaments or yarns. The composite materials according to the invention are characterised in that the filaments or yarns of polyether ketone are crimped. The composite materials according to the invention are distinguished by excellent adhesion between matrix material and reinforcing material.</p> |
