An apparauts for making fuel briquettes comprising: an elevated structure having a molding means fixedly held thereof, and a compressing assembly being arranged such that it is capable of upward and downward movement on said elevated structure, said compressing assembly being in cooperative movable relationships with said molding means to facilitate production of fuel briquettes, said molding means having a plurality of compressing members provided on said compressing assembly are each correspondingly in telescopic relationship thereof, said telescopically related hollow members and compressing members defining a plurality of chambers wherein carbonaceous briquette mixture can be compressed and compacted until it is converted into fuel briquette, a cover member pivotally held on said molding means and capable of clising the mouths of said hollow members when in its locked position on said molding means, said cover member being configured such that it is capable of bearing the pressure applied by the compressing member on the briquette mixture in each chamber to facilitate compaction and conversion of said mixture into briquette form, and pressurized lift means being arranged in the elevated structure such that it is capable of facilitating the upward and downward movement of said compressing assembly. |
