The hot melt composite filament is produced by melt-mixing 60-90 wt.% of an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer resin contg. 1-99 % vinyl acetate with 60-90 wt.% of a polypropylene (PP) resin, adding 5-45 % of an adhesion-allowing resin to the mixture, and melt-spinning the mixture at 220-300 deg.C. The composite filament has a strong adhesiveness and good softness.
