The upper mattress contains spring elements (1) between layers of textiles, said spring elements being made of an elastomer, consisting of tubular sections (2) which are stacked one above the other and are firmly connected to one another, and having resting surfaces (3) at both ends. Individual tubular sections (2) have connecting parts (4) to provide snap-on connections with adjacent spring elements.
