PURPOSE:To increase a permeability by forming spinel-structured Ni-Zn ferrite material in a specific composition wherein a part of NiO is replaced with CuO. CONSTITUTION:In the oxide magnetic material, a composition is set as follows; a (Ni(1-x).Cux)O.bZnO.cFe2O3 (a+b+c=100mol%, 0<=x<=1), a=15.0-18.0mol%, b=31.0-34.5mol%, c=49.0-52.5mol%. This is also concerned about an electromagnetic wave absorber which is constituted of a high magnetic permeability sintered compact of oxide magnetic material having the composition. By using this ferrite material as the electromagnetic wave absorber, a frequency band area of 30MHz or lower can be covered by ferrite alone and thereby the manufacturing cost of an electromagnetic shield room can be reduced and the interior space can be extended easily. |
