PURPOSE:To enhance luminous intensity and improve durability in an organic EL, element formed of a luminous laminated body consisting of a hole transporting layer and an electron transporting layer by sealing all the laminated body in an inert material such as fluidized paraffin, silicon oil, or others. CONSTITUTION:A comb-type cathode 2 is provided on a base 1 consisting of glass, quartz, plastics or the like, an organic laminated body 7 is formed to cover it, a comb-type anode 3 is arranged in a lattice to the cathode 2, and cathode leads 1p are connected to anode leads 1n, respectively. Thereafter, the thus-structured body is fitted to a case C, this is filled with an inert material S, and the surface is sealed by use of a transparent plate T. |
