OPTICAL TRANSMITTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the light modulation of intensity amplification in each electrooptic converter being a component of a multiplex signal transmission optical transmitter. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter is provided with electrooptic converters 7-9 whose number is equal to or more than number of outputted signals being optical signals subject to intensity modulation by using each of plural electric signals (e.g. video signals) whose transmission frequency bands are not overlapped with each other and an optical multiplexer 10 multiplexing optical signals 14-16 obtained from each of the electrooptic converters 7-9. The transmission frequency band of the plural electric signals is selected so that an upper limit frequency of a highest frequency band is lower than a frequency twice a lower limit frequency of the signal at a lowest frequency band.
