PURPOSE:To obtain the automatic equalizer in which excellent convergence is enhanced without satisfying a fading compensation characteristic. CONSTITUTION:The equalizer is provided with a out of synchronism detection circuit 14 detecting out of synchronism of a demodulator in addition to an A/D converter 11, a transversal filter 12 and a tap coefficient control circuit 13. The tap coefficient control circuit 1 is provided with a reset circuit 37 resetting optionally 1st-n-th integration devices outputting a tap coefficient control signal respectively and the reset circuit 37 is operated based on an output signal of the out of synchronism detection circuit 14 and when pulling-in is implemented from out of synchronism, the integration devices of a predetermined number are reset. |
