PURPOSE:To obtain a method for recording optical information which can record/reproduce at a high signal level and a recording medium for performing the same. CONSTITUTION:A phase of a groove provided on a board for tracking and a phase change before and after a recording layer is recorded are positively utilized. When the phase of a high reflectivity side of the layer is phih and the phase of a low reflectivity side is phi1, the groove is recorded at the time of phih <phi1, and a land between the grooves is recorded at the time of phih>phi1. Since the phase change of a recording film can be utilized, a signal level can be increased, and hence an optical information recording medium having high C/N or high S/N can be obtained. |
