<p>PURPOSE:To enable an electronic clock to be operated highly accurately and stably even without using an expensive crystal oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A calibration device of an electronic clock which achieves calibration and stabilization of the electronic clock which is incorporated in a home VTR, etc., is provided with a voltage-controlled oscillator 2 which generates a reference signal b for driving a clock 4, a television reception circuit 6 for outputting a color sub-carrier c, etc., of television broad casting, and a phase comparator 8 which controls the voltage-controlled oscillator 2 so that the frequency of the reference signal b is equal to that of the color sub- carrier c, etc., by making comparison of phases between the reference signal b and the sub-carrier c, etc.</p> |
