ELECTRONIC MUFFLING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for remeasuring operation after a power failure and to perform muffling operation instantaneously after the power source is turned ON by storing a nonvolatile memory with transfer functions required for the muffling operation at all times. CONSTITUTION:The nonvolatile memory 1 is added to a controller 14 for the electronic sound elimination controller. The transfer function from a speaker 13 to a sensor microphone 11 and the transfer function from the speaker 13 to an error microphone 12 are electronically stored in the nonvolatile memory 1 by programming after being measured. Namely, characteristics of a system including electric characteristics from the speaker 13 to the sensor microphone 11 and characteristics of a system including electric characteristics from the speaker 13 to the error microphone 12 are measured and then written in the nonvolatile memory 1 before the muffling operation. In the operation flow of this system, the two transfer functions are only read out of the nonvolatile memory 1 after the power failure, so the remeasurement of the transfer function and the stopping of an air blower are eliminated and the muffling operation is instantaneously carried out.
