ON-VEHICLE PORTABLE TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To reduce current consumption in the signal reception waiting state in the on-vehicle portable telephone set. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 22 of a control section 2 is set in the stop mode in the standby state and the error correction of a reception signal is implemented by an error correction section 23 independent of the microprocessor 22. The stop mode is released by depressing an optional key 8 of a handset section 5 and then interruption is caused in the microprocessor 22, which starts scanning to decrease the current consumption in the standby state.
