MONITOR SYSTEM FOR REPEATER

摘要

PURPOSE:To monitor the repeater with simple configuration by modulating a subcarrier other than that of a main signal from one terminal station equipment so as to modulate the main signal with the modulated subcarrier and sending a monitor control signal to each repeater. CONSTITUTION:A monitor control signal from a sender side terminal station to a repeater 56a is sent while being superimposed on a main signal by using a monitor control signal carrier. Thus, the monitor control signal is relayed attended with relay transmission by the non-regenerative relay function amplifying the main signal provided to each repeater 56a. Furthermore, the monitor signal from each repeater 56a is superimposed onto the main signal by using the monitor signal carrier and relayed to a receiver side terminal station receiver 57a. In this case, the monitor control signal and each monitor signal sent from the terminal station and each relay station 56a are subjected to frequency division multiplex transmission by varying the frequency of the monitor signal subcarrier from the repeater 56a. Since no new function to be added for relaying the monitor control signal and the monitor signal is required for each repeater, the configuration of each repeater is simplified.
