PURPOSE:To provide the signal processing system which decreases the pitch of an acoustic signal in an excellent SN state with a digital signal. CONSTITUTION:Sample values of the digital signal whose pitch is to be decreased are repeatedly read out of a storage device in every N successive sampling cycles of the digital signal, and arranged on a time base, and the sampling section of the digital signal is extended by N times; and a series of sample values which are substantially held and interpolated at the time positions dividing the N-extended sampling section by N is oversampled by an oversampling filter 3, an output which deviates by one sample from the generated sampled values is generated by an oversampling filter 4 for interpolation signal generation, and return components in output digital data obtained by the oversampling filter 3 and oversampling filter 4 for interpolation signal generation are removed by an anti-aliasing filter 6. |
