EXPRESSION CONTROL SEQUENCE

EV 4754/3 Processes for the preparation of new expression control sequences useful in the expression of pro- or eukaryotic proteins in prokaryotic organisms are provided, which processes comprise combining a coliphage T5 promoter with a DNA sequence which permits the control of promoter activity to a functional unit. Also described are processes for the preparation of expression vectors containing these new expression control sequences and processes using the expression vectors for the manufacture of pro- or eukaryotic polypeptides.
