PURPOSE:To realize a reduction in size of an optical head. CONSTITUTION:A starting mirror 21 is formed to have a convexlike reflecting surface 21a. The surface 21a diverges a laser light 10A reflected thereon and incident to an objective lens 5A as a divergent light beam to form a spot 12 on an optical disk 11 in a predetermined diameter d1, and allows a diameter D1 of a laser light 13A of a parallel beam incident to the mirror 21 to be smaller than that of prior art. A collimator lens 3A is formed in a small size. |
