PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the memory capacity and to improve the total drawing performance by directly drawing a requested figure to be displayed in a display area of a frame memory without storing the figure in a non-display area when the use frequency of the figure is low and there is no free area in the non-display area. CONSTITUTION:When the whole figure can not be stored in a fixed cache block 5, the fixed figure 4 is divided to storable cache block size and the fixed figure 4 which is requested to be displayed is displayed. When there is not a free fixed figure cache block 5, the use frequency of the requested fixed figure is compared with the lowest use frequency among fixed figures 4 stored in the non-display area 3. When the use frequency of the requested fixed figure 4 is lower than that of the fixed figure 4 having the lowest use frequency, the requested fixed figure 4 is drawn directly in the display area 2 of the frame memory 1 and displayed. |
