PURPOSE:To enable a lubricant supply operation to be automated so as to protect a machine against damage caused by forgetting to lubricate it by a method wherein a lubricant automatic supply device (lubricator) which feeds lubricant to the outer circumferential surface of a cam is provided near to the cam. CONSTITUTION:Grease supplied from a lubricating device 196 is discharged out to the outer circumferential surfaces of cams 45, 64, 83, 91, 94, 101, and 104 passing through the hollows 198 of shafts 109 and 110, a capillary 199 which communicates with the hollows 198, and discharge orifices 200 provided to the above cam communicating with the capillary 199. A groove 201 is provided to the outer circumferential surfaces of the shafts 109 and 110, so that grease is fed to the discharge orifices 200 through the grooves 201 even if the alignment of the capillary 199 with the discharge orifice 200 is spoiled. Therefore, lubricant can automatically be supplied without stopping an equipment. |
