PURPOSE:To make plural information processors simultaneously process edition of the same document in a document editing system consisting of plural information processors processing document edition, a data base system supplying at least document data for the plural information processor and a communication network mutually connecting the plural information processor and the data base system. CONSTITUTION:The data base system (server 202) provides document data for another information processor (client 201) via the communication network (LAN 203). There are areas more than one in the document and one file is assigned to one area. The client 201a and 201b simultaneously edit and process the same document in the server 202 by each area in the document and store it in a file. Consequently, the plural information processor becomes capable of simultaneously editing the same document in terms of area so that the document can efficiently be editing-operated by plural users. |
