<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of image quality caused by a fixing roller at the time of fixing by inexpensive constitution by providing the part of high frictional resistance at one end of both ends of the fixing roller or a pressure roller, which is out of an area where a material to be fixed passes. CONSTITUTION:The sides of both ends 31a of the fixing roller 31, that is, the part W2 which is out of the area W1 where the material to be fixed (transfer paper) passes is formed to be the part of high frictional resistance where the surface is roughened by knurling work. The part W2 is arranged to come in contact with the pressure roller 33. The surface of the fixing roller 31 being a transfer paper passing area W1 is coated with a material excellent in releasing property for toner of PTFE or PFA, etc. By making the rollers 31 and 33 pressure and nip with specified pressure between the rollers, the driving and rotating force of the roller 33 following to the driving and rotating of the roller 31 is enhanced, and the rotating speed of the roller 31 and the feeding speed of the transfer paper are made equal.</p> |
