<p>PURPOSE:To provide the touch panel type input device which can simplify operations by uniting a power source turning-on operation and a position input operation. CONSTITUTION:This touch panel type input device is equipped with two upper and lower electrode panels 27a and 27b respectively having resistance distribution uniform in X and Y directions, a control circuit to alternately impress a voltage for forming voltage distribution on these electrode panels to the respective electrode panels and to detect/measure a voltage obtained on one electrode panel when both electrode panels are touched at one point, and calculates the touched position according to the measured voltage detected and measured in this control circuit and the voltage distribution on the electrode panels 27a and 27b, and this control circuit serially sets the respective electrode panels and output resistors R3 and VR1 between a power source and a ground in the case of turning off the power source, and turns on the power source corresponding to the voltages appearing at the output resistors when the electrode panels are touched each other at the prescribed part.</p> |
