<p>PURPOSE:To sufficiently cover the substantial function of a signal network by providing a function for processing a network management signal with highest priority only when priority designation in a message is a specific value. CONSTITUTION:When basic procedure signal links 2A, 2B used in a normal state or a satellite line using a satellite 6 is faulty, conversion adaptors 3A, 3B check a priority designation field in a level 2-field. Then the signal with the highest priority is closed in a level 3, a processed network management signal is confirmed and when the signal is a link switch instructing signal, the communication link 4 between the adaptors 3A, 3B is used and a retrieval result executed by the conversion adaptor at a faulty link is noticed and the line switching is finished. Thus, the link switching is required due to the occurrence of a link fault or the like, the function of the No.7 signal network in compliance with the CCITT recommendations is sufficiently covered.</p> |
