<p>PURPOSE:To improve the startability of a lamp by elevating the filament voltage at preheating, and maintain the life of a discharge lamp specifically by lowering the filament voltage at lighting. CONSTITUTION:A pair of filament windings 27 and 28 are wound on the surface of the secondary coil 25 on the secondary side from a pass core 5. At preheating, the magnetic flux generated on the primary side links with the secondary coil 25 on the secondary side and a pair of filament windings 27 and 28, the filament voltage goes high. At lighting, one part of the magnetic flux generated on the primary side returns to the primary side through a pass core 5, and the filament voltage goes low.</p> |
