<p>PURPOSE: To store many cassettes in a small space and to efficiently use them by horizontally/vertically moving the cassettes on parallely-displacable two stage decks by a reciprocating driver and mounting them to a driving position by a robot arm. CONSTITUTION: The several pieces of the cassettes 8A-8D are housed in a freely insertable and detachable magazine 6. The magazine 6 is provided with the decks of two upper and lower stages and one cassette absent space each is provided in the decks to be displaced is parallel. Then, the cassette is moved only in one direction by the reciprocating driver, movement in an opposite direction is locked and one of the cassettes 8A-8D is selectively taken out by prescribed horizontal/vertical movement. The cassette 8 is pulled out by the robot arm 18 and it is mounted to a tape driving position and returned to an original position by the robot arm after use is ended.</p> |
