Provided are a wireless transmission device, a wireless receiving device, a wireless communication system and a communication method which make it possible for a wireless transmission device that performs OFDMA transmission to efficiently identify a wireless receiving device participating in OFDMA transmission. A wireless transmission device for performing OFDMA transmission between a plurality of wireless receiving devices, the wireless transmission device being equipped with: a receiving unit provided with the function of receiving a function information response frame containing function response information indicating the provision of a carrier-sensing function and a function for performing the OFDMA transmission; and a transmission unit provided with the function of switching whether or not to transmit a frame to one or more of the plurality of wireless receiving devices, on the basis of the carrier sense.
