A device for securing sawn timber as it is trimmed in length or divided, comprising a supplementation of the feed system by a similar system of securing elements, turned inside out towards the dogs of the drive mechanism and coupled together with the feed system in such a way that the securing chains are able to go forwards at the same or lower speed than the feed system but absolutely no quicker. The timber is thereby clamped between the dogs of the feed system and the securing elements. <IMAGE> |
