PURPOSE:To obtain the subject product rich in bulkiness and flexibility by melting the same thermoplastic resin in two extruders at different temperatures, separately discharging the melts through side-by-side type conjugate spinning holes, then laminating both and using the resultant filaments. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin (e.g. polypropylene) melted at a temperature (T1) is initially fed from an extruder 1 to a spinneret 3 and the same thermoplastic resin as that described above melted at a lower temperature (T2) than the temperature (T1) is simultaneously fed from an extruder 2 to the spinneret 3. Each thermoplastic resin is then separately discharged from a pair of the spinning holes in a side-by-side type conjugate spinning holes provided in the spinneret 3 and directly laminated to each the thermoplastic resin. The resultant fiber is subsequently drawn and solidified with an air sucker 4, etc., to form crimpable filaments, which are then accumulated. The difference between the temperatures (T1) and (T2) is preferably 30-60 deg.C. |
