<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the proper steering feeling in accordance with the traveling state by constituting a steering torque sensor so that the max. output is obtained with the proper steering torque in the state where the steering resistance is necessary such as in the high speed traveling state or in the traveling state where the steering wheel load is small. CONSTITUTION:A motor-driven type steering device for a forklift, etc., whose steering wheel load varies according to the loaded state is equipped with a steering mechanism 2 which is constituted so that a sector gear 2f connected with a Pitmann arm, etc., is meshed with a rack part 2e screwed with a rotary shaft 2c on an input side is meshed, and a steering torque sensor mechanism 1 is arranged at the lower edge of the rotary shaft 2c. In this case, the steering torque sensor mechanism 1 is equipped with a turning lever 1h, rotary potentioimeter 1k, etc., and the maximum torque detection value is outputted in case of the proper steering torque for instance at the time of the high speed traveling where the variation rate of the output voltage due to the increase of the steering torque is small, and a large steering assistance force is not needed, and the large steering resistance is necessary. Accordingly, the superior steering characteristic can be obtained in all the operation regions.</p> |
