PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid having high long-term storage stability, giving a recorded image having high density and excellent light-fastness, water- resistance and color-tone and suitable for ink-jet recording, writing, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid is produced by compounding 0.5-5wt.%, preferably 2-4wt.% (based on the total recording liquid) of a dye expressed by formula (R<1> is H, Cl, CH3, etc.; R<2> is 1-6C alkyl, phenyl, etc.; X is CO or SO2; R<3> is H, phenyl which may be substituted with COOM group, etc.; R<4> is H or 1-3C alkyl substituted with COOM group; (m) is 1 or 2; (n) is 0 or 1; M is alkali metal, NH4, etc.). |
