PURPOSE:To join rubber sheets together automatically and firmly by arranging, in inclination, a pair of specific joint rollers having protrusions for engagement in the end part of the cylinder of the rollers and plural number of protrusions on the outer- peripheral surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted by a pressure-roller 19 for pressing rubber sheets 10 and 10' before being joined and by at least a pair of joint rolls 20 and 20' and also 21 and 21' for joining these sheets together. The joint roll 20 has the concavities 27 and bosses 28 for engagement with the other joint roll 20' in the end part thereof, as well as many protrusions 29 on the outer-peripheral surface thereof. When a frame 18 wherein the joint rolls are arranged, being tilted against a joint 22 is moved along the joint 22, the joint rolls draw the end parts of the rubber sheets to the central part and join them together under pressure. |
