PURPOSE:To obtain a superior fault point locating system which can detect a fault point highly accurately. CONSTITUTION:This locating system is provided with a breaking current sensor 25, an auxiliary contact 30, and a gas pressure sensor 20 which are placed at a gas insulation switching device. A signal from the breaking current sensor 25 and the auxiliary contact 30 is input by a breaking current measuring part 26 for measuring the breaking current. A signal from the gas pressure sensor 20 is input by a gas pressure measuring part 21 for measuring increase in pressure. Data from the breaking current measuring part 26 and the gas pressure measuring part 21 is transmitted to a transmission processing unit 33 and furthermore is transmitted to a host system 35 for performing a certain processing, thus enabling a failure point to be detected. |
