PURPOSE:To enable forming simply an electrode having less difference among the individual electrodes by printing a resist film so as to mask a terminal part of a metallic layer for an electrode and to regulate a reference electrode part, any by forming a metallic salt layer on the reference electrode part and an ion selective film on the electrode part which is regulated by the resist film, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Resists 3 and 6 are formed on a base plate 1 on which en electrode 2 is formed, an electrolyte layer 4 is formed on a region on a reference electrode part which is surrounded by the resist 3, and, moreover, each one pair of ion selective films 5 to left and right sides thereof, which contains ion carrier for three kinds of ions, is formed, and, at last, a cover plate 7 is arranged on the resist 6. When a sample to be measured its ion concentration, and a reference liquid for ion concentration are supplied from separated sample supplying holes of the cover plate 7, both the liquid spreads as far as to the whole region surrounded by the cover plate 7, and resists 3 and 6, to reach the reference electrode, and thereby an electric cell is formed between the paired electrodes 2. After that, electromotive force thereof is measured and is read out by using a calibration curve which is previously prepared. |
