PURPOSE:To form the control device of a fuel pump for internal combustion engine by which loss of energy can be reduced and fuel transport is not delayed, at a low cost and in a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:The fuel pump control device of an internal combustion engine 1 is provided with a PBA sensor 10 for detecting a pressure in the intake pipe 6 of the internal combustion engine 1, a number of revolution of engine (NE) sensor 5 for detecting operating condition of the internal combustion engine 1, and ALC sensor 23 for detecting alcoholic concentration in mixture fuel in which gasoline and alcohol are mixed together, and a fuel pump 14a for supplying fuel in the internal combustion engine 1. Also it is provided with an operating mode deciding means 3b for deciding the operating mode of the fuel pump 14a according to alcoholic concentration and pressure in the intake pipe 6 or the number of revolution of the engine and a fuel pump control circuit 14b for changing voltage or current applied to a fuel pump 14a by the operating mode decided by means of the operating mode deciding means 3b. |
