PURPOSE:To obtain sanitary and safe purified water by using this water purifier having a durable water purifying function. CONSTITUTION:A housing 11 contains the water purifying mechanism 15 consisting of a hollow-fiber membrane layer 13 and an active carbon bed 14, and a raw water inlet pipe 19 and a purified water outlet pipe 18 are connected to the housing 11. A switching valve 20 is inserted into a part of the raw water inlet pipe 19, and a bypass pipe 22 is connected to the switching valve 20 and a part of the purified water outlet pipe 18 through a pressure reducing means 23. After the purified water such as drinking water is obtained, the purifier is not used for a long time, and bacteria are propagated in the hollow-fiber membrane layer 13, etc. However, the bacteria, etc., collected in the water purifying mechanism 15 are removed by an aspirator 23 as the pressure reducing means, and sanitary and safe purified water is obtained. |
